Call for applications: UNESCO-IEEE Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Early-Career Engineers in Africa

As part of the 10th African Engineering Week to be held in Luanda at the InterContinental Hotel from 9 to 13 September 2024, UNESCO and its partners invite all engineering students, recent graduates, other interested parties and beyond, to apply for the BootCamp to be held during the 10th AEW at the Instituto Superior Politécnico de Tecnologias e Ciências (ISPTEC).

• UNESCO - Program implementation and coordination-sponsorship

• Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) - sponsorship and coordination

• ET Cube International - providing training materials and expertise in the field of entrepreneurship

• Order of Engineers of Angola (OEA) - Coordination

• Higher Polytechnic Institute of Technologies and Sciences (ISPTEC) - Host

Eligibility

Participants must be: 

• Be under 35 years old by December 31, 2024;

• Early career engineers, including students registered in engineering programs and engineering professionals;

• National and resident of an African country;

• Available for all days of the bootcamp, including online commitments for two pre-bootcamps.
